This is a variegated vanilla vine. It is an orchid. This orchid does really well in terrariums and also outside of terrariums. This is a hearty orchid that likes to climb, similar to Hoyas. The plant has aerial roots that like to attach to something like a pole to help the plant climb and grow bigger. This is the plant responsible for producing the vanilla bean from its flower when it is allowed to get mature.
